DEC/26/2014  A Christmas Miracle

STORY SPEAKER 1 SPEAKER 2 RANK

On Christmas night, there was a power outage all around Genoa City except Dylan's coffee house, which is subject to a re-development plan.  Thanks to the house, everyone could celebrate the holy night without being cold and in the dark.  The next morning, Nick is grateful to Avery and Dylan and they talk together about what the place is like to people in Genoa City.

Couldn't get enough of us after yesterday?

I actually wanted to thank you for letting me spend the day here.

Ah, I forgot to lock the door.

Hey, you've got to be quicker than that. I mean the sign says closed but you can't always believe what you read.

Actually, it was nice having everybody here. I'm glad that we can open up the place for family and friends. Hopefully people will realize what this place means.

Well, you definitely got the press talking about you. They are calling what happened here a Christmas miracle.

Well, I mean... come on, your place is the only joint in town with electricity and without a generator. I mean, I knew this place was always special. A lot of magic happened for me here but what went down yesterday, wow!

Yeah, there's a report that it's a sign from God that the coffee house shouldn't be closed.

Can I get an Amen for that?

Amen!

I don't know who or what was behind it but I figure why not take it and run with it.

[EXPRESSIONS]

JOINT is slang for a business.

AMEN is typically used at the end of a Christian prayer but when used casually it expresses your approval of what was said.

[TRICKS]

Nick:

Can I get an Amen for that?

AMEN maybe sounds like "a man".
